This collaboration between Otzi and Olympus was commissioned to celebrate the launch of the Olympus Pen-F camera released in February 2016. The collection of bags were developed to mimic the style and construction of the Pen-F camera itself, which uses solid metal to house the contents and no screws to hold the components in place. These camera bags were designed to be contructed using no glue or stitching, instead using traditional lacing techniques and rivets to hold sections together. Packaging and origami methods were also incorporated to create a bag made from a single piece of leather. The linings were created from sustainable cork fabric with a padded interior, creating a removable lining to further the function of the bags. British and Tuscan vegtetable tanned leather were used for their innate tactility and characterful finish.
